Kristina Montanez is a Registered Patent Attorney before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, and is licensed to practice in Washington State and the United States District Courts for the Western & Eastern Districts of Washington. Ms. Montanez received a Bachelor degree in Computer Science from Oregon State University, a Bachelor degree in Government from Eastern Washington University, and a Juris Doctor degree from Gonzaga, School of Law. She also received a certification in Neural Networks and Deep Learning, concentrating on Machine Learning and Sequence Models.
Ms. Montanez’s practice focuses on the drafting and prosecution of patent applications, and providing patent opinions on potential infringement, patent validity, and freedom-to-operate. She has worked with startups, solo inventors, and large companies to develop IP strategies in various technical arts including mechanical, commercial building construction materials, and computer applications for mental health services.
